Men playing the field are nothing new; and of course, men playing the field in Hollywood, are closely watched to see who will emerge as the current squeeze.

But it seems that while most of us were watching Hollywood's hot couples such as Pitt and Jolie, and Affleck and Garner, and their kids, a new brand of "Super-Bachelor" appears to have emerged.

Currently the high scorer of the moment is generally considered to be John Mayer, shown here modeling his line of "Banana Split Thongs".

If Mayer isn't careful with his juggling women act, that swimwear could quickly become known as the, "Ass In A Sling" model.

Just when I thought these two, Paris Hilton, and Lindsay Lohan, were settling into some form of stability, they start a crazy bit of bitter repartee, on "Facebook", of course.

These public, celebrity "fights", usually between a pair of Hollywood actresses, have always been with us.

My favorite battle of the divas, from way back, has to be the famous Bette Davis - Joan Crawford feud simply because anything these two ever engaged in was done so with class.

Fans of celebrities have speculated on when Madonna would get divorced for so long that I have to wonder if the split up was long in the making or just sort of happened now.

In any event it appears that the rumors were true and now the rumor mills can begin churning out ideas as to what was the real reason for the break up.

It will be interesting to see if Madonna stays in England and who's next as her companion

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not fond of things medical, and that includes "optional" procedures such as "Botox."

Nope, I don't want to spend any more time involved with medical things than is necessary, but some people relish trips to the doctor, and if it's a plastic surgeon, woo-hoo, now they're ready for some real fun, a la Joan Rivers.

It seems to me that women handle medical matters much better than men, that is to say, they aren't as afraid of this stuff as much as men.

I suppose that's what makes women more adventuresome when it comes to cosmetic surgery and here's a gal that still looks good, Courtney Cox, who gave Botox a try, and now has spoken about what she thinks of it.

The world of celebrity watchers is always on the lookout for new photos of their favorite stars; but the most sought of these pictures are of the more personal or candid variety.

Photos taken by Paparazzi, or other fans, and especially photos taken by the celebrities themselves, are the most highly prized of celebrity photos because their candid nature allows fans a glimpse inside their personal lives.

Well it seems that Brad Pitt has become an avid amateur photographer and, no big surprise, Angelina and the kids are his favorite subjects.

Of course one of the pictures somehow found its way to the press and of course the one above is that picture.

Reality TV shows continue racking up the big numbers and as long as they do you can expect to see more of them.

Here's the latest from the rock world of "VH1" and it sets Sharon Osbourne up as A schoolmistress, who looks a bit like a Dominatrix. Sharon's goal is to see to it that the rough and tumble Rock Of Love girls earn their "charm school" diplomas.

The show started yesterday but there are reruns of yesterday's show all week long on "VH1".

Just when you think that Leonardo DiCaprio is on a break of some kind he hits us back to back with what looks like a pair of blockbusters.

DiCaprio's next movie will be released on October 10 and is the fast paced thriller, "Body Of Lies".

Next up is a movie due for a very early January, 2009 release, in Germany, called, "Revolutionary Road", which teams him up with his "Titanic" playmate, Kate Winslet, for only the second time.

But hey there are more DiCaprio movies in various stages of production well into 2011 than you can imagine. I'm told that in all Leo has 16 different, "Projects", floating around these days

And lastly, Leonardo is back with his Israeli former girlfriend, Bar Rafaeli, more or less seen with him in the above photo.

Ah, she has no bad angles, it's a good picture.

It looks as if Drew Barrymore has found a new distraction in the form of a boy-toy.

Ed Westwick, of "gossip girl" fame, has become the latest of Drew Barrymore's "barely legal" escorts.




The pair was caught, if that's what you want to call it because it was quite public, hanging on to each other, and generally oblivious to those around them while making out.
