What we have with Rachel Maddow is a combination of a very effective, wry sense of humor, coupled with Rhodes Scholar intelligence.
Rachel deals primarily with political issues and there's nothing more satisfying than observing her take apart those politicians whose remarks and actions are offensive to her and harmful to the populace.
Rachel represents the Left side of politics, which these days is taken to mean that she's a Democrat, and there are strong rumors in the air about her running for the U.S. Senate.
This is somewhat unexpected since Rachel enjoys her job of exposing political wrongdoing. But then, an opportunity to influence the way our government's business is conducted, and correct some of the misconduct in the senate, is too good to pass up.
