WHO’S THE STAR IN YOU?

I found something really cool to start off the New Year.

It's said that there's a double or near double of everyone on Earth. How many times have you seen someone on the street and compared his or her looks to a well-known star?

Everyone has said, or heard someone say something like: "Hey, that chick looks just like Ruth Buzzi," or, "Doesn' t that guy look like the guy who was in that movie with that other guy?"

Has anyone ever told you that you resemble Don Rickles, or Don Knotts, or Sandra Bullock? What about President Bush, doesn't he look like Alfred E. Newman?

Last year my wife and I were admiring the views atop Mount Charleston, just outside of Vegas, when a car stopped and a young couple emerged. The woman looked just like Salma Hayek, lucky her.

We were stunned and when I told her what I thought, she laughed, and said that she was now called Salma by nearly everyone she knew. She was not unhappy about it, and neither was her proud husband.

Now you can find out which celebrity you most closely resemble. There's a specially programmed computer that scans a photograph of a person' s face, compares it to its database of celebrity photos, and displays a photo of the closest match within seconds.

I put my mug shot from this blog in and it popped out this photo of Anthony Hopkins as my nearest match.

Sir Hopkins may not be so thrilled with the comparison to yours truly, but since he's one of my favorite actors, I'm happy. Now if I can find a way to have my bank account more closely match his I'll really be thrilled.

Just go to "Face Recognition," and follow the simple instructions to see who your doppelganger is.
