WHO WILL BE HOT IN 2005?
Filed in archive CELEBRITIES & GOSSIP by jim on January 03, 2005
Your guess is as good as mine but one thing's for sure, I'll be there to pick over their bones and report my findings.
For starters here's a look at the predictions made by "iCircle."
As the year progresses we'll see how accurate they are.
Before we get too far along I want to mention that at the end of this posting you'll find the list of the 10 most popular people of 2004, based on the number of times their names were queried on the Google search engine.
Before you jump ahead to look at it why not come up with your own list and see how it compares?
Of course there are celebrities that will always be in the news, even long after they're dead. Many of them have made, big surprise, New Year's resolutions to lose weight, whether they need to or not.
Here's a list of celebrities and the bizarre diets they are on. Caution, do not try these yourself, the persons engaging in these rituals are professionals.
Christina Ricci is grazing only on salads these days, in the hope that she can get her cheeks "ultra hollow." She did not state which set of cheeks she was referring to.
Designer Karl Lagerfeld revealed his weight loss secret thusly: "At dinner parties, slide the food to the centre of the dish and later squeeze it all together on the side of the plate. So as not to offend the host, occasionally put the fork to your mouth and make believe."
That's easy for him to do; he needs his other hand to manipulate his fan.
Elton John takes lamb urine injections to lose weight.
I wonder if he'll develop muttonchops side burns?
Michael Jackson reportedly keeps his weight down with frequent self-administered enemas, but needs tampons to prevent "leakage."
While you say, "ewww," consider that that"s probably the most normal thing you' ve ever heard about him. Now say, "ewww," again.
John Malkovich eats only Jell-O.
Howard Stern eats only steamed potatoes.
Those two should swap lunch boxes once in a while.
Here"s an interesting look at popularity of a different sort. This report, in the "Money," which of course is always popular, section of "USA Today" profiles items that are considered indispensable by the movers and shakers of the world, such as "Blackberry."
And lastly, here' s the list of the most popular people of 2004, based on Google statistics. The first 3 are no surprise, but who would have thought that Pam Anderson would still be so high on the list?
1. Britney Spears
2. Paris Hilton
3. Christina aguilera

4. Pamela Anderson
5. Carmen Electra
6. Jennifer Lopez
7. Angelina Jolie
8. Arvil Lavigne
9. Beyonce Knowles
10.Hilary Duff
So how accurate was your list?
