Whoa, Hollywood is suddenly becoming a hotbed of political activity!

Playboy extraordinaire of yesteryear, Warren Beatty, along with his wife, actress, Annette Benning, descended on an Arnold Schwarzenegger led political rally over the weekend.

The 68-year-old actor, and brother, of actress/mystic/UFO chaser/reincarnation aficionado, Shirley MacLaine, attempted to crash the Republican Governor's party, which was designed to garner votes for his four pet referendums which will be voted on today.

Looking like a desiccated prickly pear these days, although probably still able to lift a small hybrid car, but certainly not his own vehicle of choice, a behemoth Hummer, the Governator did not publicly acknowledge Beatty.

The speakers who preceded Schwarzenegger handled the Beatty bashing, in typical Republican fashion. Rather than point out differences or shortcomings in Beatty's political views, they giggled like school girls and poked fun at the movies he had appeared in.

This evoked laughter from the mummified appearing Warren who, along with many of the people he supports, such as nurses, teachers, and other unionized workers, were situated just outside the rally's site, an aircraft hanger.
