Used to be that summer spelled the death of the TV season but these days TV shows can end or start at any time.
On June 8th HBO closes out "The Sopranos," probably with a shootout, and "Deadwood," possibly with a killing. However HBO also resumes its hit show "Six Feet Under," on that date, starting with a death.
Fox ends this season's "american idol," tomorrow, May 25th, by knocking off one of the final two contestants, but then on June 8th they debut "The Jury," where 12 people will decide if someone should get the death sentence.
Tonight on Fox the finale of "The Swan," the show where 9 average women compete for looks that kill, will air.
NBC's "Crime And Punishment" returns on June 12th with a story about two guys who are charged with second-degree murder.
Not to be outdone, CBS airs a new episode of "CSI:Miami," the show that features murder investigations, and tomorrow, Tuesday, the second half of their mini-series, "Reversible Errors" airs, which is a story about a double homicide.
If TV is not your thing you can always go to the movies and check out "The Day After Tomorrow," a Fox movie about deadly weather which debuts on May 28th. Or, if you want to take in a movie right now, the Fox movie "Man On Fire," starring Denzel Washington, who kills a lot of people, is currently showing.
For your future entertainment Fox is currently casting for "The Next Great Champ," hosted by Champion Oscar De La Hoya. This show that will feature boxers who will try to kill each other, figuratively at least.
Of course you can also tune in to any TV news channel and catch up on all the latest war and terrorist happenings around the world.
