As 2005 draws to a close the first of the celebrity best/worst lists are starting to emerge.

This list, "Tackiest Couples," compiled by "Star" magazine after polling 35,000 readers, is the first of it' s kind in my recollection.

Not surprisingly Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown topped the list of other couples that also worked hard to earn their ranking.

Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, still rated a spot after all these years.

Here's the top 10:

1. WHITNEY HOUSTON and BOBBY BROWN

2. TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES

3. BRITNEY SPEARS and KEVIN FEDERLINE

4. FLAVOR FLAV and BRIGITTE NIELSEN

5. JUDE LAW and SIENNA MILLER

6. TOMMY LEE and PAMELA ANDERSON

7. ICE-T and COCO

8. MISCHA BARTON and CISCO ADLER

9. PARIS HILTON and PARIS LATSIS / STAVROS NIARCHOS III

10. STAR JONES REYNOLDS (US TV personality) and AL REYNOLDS

Obviously the, "Being Bobby Brown," show propelled the couple to first place. Whitney's publicly aired problem with constipation put them over the top.

If they had played up to an older audience they may have been heralded as saints and not losers if they discovered a successful formula for the problem.
