This news has me excited, and it's not even about sex!
"Star Wars" will be coming to TV, and I don't mean the movies.
George Lucas will, of course, be in control of the project, which is slated for at least 100 episodes.
The shows will cover the 20-year Luke Skywalker, "growing up," period, and is expected to be darker and more serious than the theatrical releases.
I can't wait, especially since there aren't any similar shows on TV, except for "Stargate," and "Battlestar Galactica," which just don't turn my crank.
I really miss shows like "Deep Space Nine," and "Babylon 5," and I hope the new "Star Wars" will turn me on as much.
It's too soon to have any info on casting, but my hunch is that there will, after a while, be guest appearances by high profile actors, in addition to what I hope will be a star studded regular crew.
