San Francisco Apartments and Celebrity Owned Restaurants

A couple of years ago, we were seriously considering a move to the Bay Area and I was though I wasn't all too eager with the daunting task of relocating, I was immensely excited of the prospect of possibly living in San Francisco. I've asked around and almost everyone said that apart perhaps from the fact that San Francisco apartments aren't exactly what you would call cheap, it's a great place to live.

For foodies out there, did you know that San Fran is host to many celebrity owned restaurants? There's
Ana Mandara, owned in part by celebrity Don Johnson and Cheech Marin,
Rubicon Resturant, owned by celebrities Robert De Niro, Francis Ford Coppola and Robin Williams
Café Zoetrope, named after director Francis Ford Coppola's production company

and plenty of jaunts owned by celebrity chefs:

Jardinière – owned by San Francisco's celebrity chef Des Jardins, a contender in the Food Networks "The Iron Chef"
Coi – by Celebrity chef Daniel Patterson
Gary Danko – obviously named after the owner
Masa's – from Gregory Short
Michael Mina – by the 'Best San Francisco Chef' in 2005 by SFO magazine and 'Best California Chef 2002'
The Dining Room at the Ritz Carlton – by celebrity Chef Ron Siegel who appeared in Food Networks Iron Chef America
Fleur De Lys – owned by celebrity chef Hubert Keller, known as the chef who was invited to serve President Clinton at the White House

Have you been to any of these restaurants?
