The Rap community is certainly doing itself proud regarding the Hurricane Katrina victim' s relief effort.
The artist formerly known as Sean Combs, Sean Puffy Combs, Puff Daddy, P Diddy, and now Diddy, along with Jay-Z,
has made a million-dollar donation to the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Diddy also dropped some dimes to call other celebrities, such as Kanye West, who have sent some heavy paper to the fund.
These talented artist/businessmen have been well supported by their fans, and they're not shy about sending some of the love back to the streets.
Another classy young man, LeBron James, who, while not in the music industry, does his share of physical rapping for the Cleveland Cavaliers, responded to Diddy's call and sent a sizable donation,

I wonder if any of America's excessively rich Corporate CEOs, particularly those who are paid in excess of $100 million plus, per year, plus bonuses, etc., are going to take a minute out of their golf course time to write a check?
I won't hold my breath.
