The music world's Rap artists have been subjected to some Rapping themselves this past week by the cops and judges.

Rapper DMX, seen here praying that he isn't jail bound, has been picked up for illegal drug possession and cruelty to animals. The later charge is seemingly becoming more common these days among high profile athletes and entertainers.

This is far from the first time that DMX has had a run in with the law.

Meanwhile Foxy Brown avoided more jail time for a charge of wielding a cell phone as a weapon.

What is it with celebrities and phones being used as weapons?
