PRETTY BOYS IN JAIL

Pretty-boys James Brown, and Glen Campbell are not singing, "I Feel Good," these days.
The Rhinestone Cowboy is headed for a 10-day stay at the Phoenix jail for his 11/25/03 drunk-driving-hit & run-assault on a police officer escapade. Perhaps the "assault on a police officer" charge stems from the fact Campbell serenaded them with unintelligible lyrics as he was booked and fingerprinted.
The 68-year-old Campbell will serve 10 days, with 12 hours of work release each day, and perform 75 hours of community service as well.
At least he can boast that once again he's at the top of the charts because his blood alcohol level rang in at 0.20 qualifying him as an "extreme" drunk, under Arizona law.
Meanwhile, James Brown, the 71-year-old Godfather Of Soul, has decided not to contest a recent domestic violence charge because he "wants to keep his family matters private."
Uh-huh.
Brown was arrested in January for pushing his wife, Tommie Rae Hynie, while threatening to kill her.
The South Carolinian's catalog also includes seven convictions over a 10-year period for offenses involving guns or drugs.
Nowadays it's rap sheets instead of music sheets for these former headliners.
