Married to Robyn Denise Moore since the late 1970s – with whom Mel Gibson shares one daughter, six sons and two grandchildren – the couple divorced in 2009, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason.
Later on, Mel Gibson continued on to have a relationship with Russian pianist Oksana Grigorieva. On October 30, 2009, Grigorieva gave birth to their daughter (Lucia) but went their separate ways by April 14, 2010.
These days, things have gotten ugly between former couple Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva. Grigorieva is claiming that the actor has not given here enough child support for their daughter Lucia (nearly 8 months old). Oksana Grigorieva was quoted saying: "He is not paying me a penny. Nothing. I am having to live on credit cards and borrowed money. It is not a good situation."
In the middle of all these, the pair has been reported to have filed opposing restraining orders against one another.
