Courtney Love, that sometimes rock star, and all times controversial character, has not changed her tune when it comes to brushes with the law.
Non-Love allegedly banged singer Kristin King with a booze bottle and metal flashlight at former manager Jim Barber's home on April 25th. Apparently there was no makeup menage a trois afterwards.
She attended a hearing a few days ago and is out on $55,000 bail. Currently she is on tour promoting her album, "American Sweetheart (she does have a sense of humor), which was released in February.
Love's rap sheet is too long for this blog but her recent entries on the police blotter are as follows:
March 18th, 2004 – assault and reckless endangerment stemming from clubbing a fan with a microphone stand. Geesh, imagine what she'll do to a non-fan.
October 21st, got into a fight with her former mother-in-law, Wendy O Connor, (the late Kurt Cobain's mother) while in court for a custody fight over daughter, Frances Bean Cobain.
October 2nd, 2003 – Drug charges.
October 2nd, 2003 – Drug charges, AGAIN, within hours of the first charge. Guess she needed the second dose to get over the jitters caused by the first bust.
February 4th, 2003 – Harassment, alarm, and distress, caused by verbal abuse to Virgin Airways employees while enroute to London. Hey, they got off easy.

We'll soon know if she'll be doing the "Jailhouse Rock."
