How do they dream these things up?

The latest beauty enhancing gimmick is the oxygen facial.

It seems that oils and acids are mixed and then blown into the skin using pure oxygen. Hmmn, sounds like the old "grease job," I used to administer to a cars when I worked in my uncle's garage, except that there wasn't any acid, and plain old compressed air provided the oomph.

Anyway, it's catching on with the "money to burn" set.

A few years ago I got a good chuckle out of a place called an oxygen bar.

I noticed it as I was parking at a health food store with a great sale on dog worming compounds. What struck me as funny was that the oxygen bar's parking lot was loaded with its patron's gas loving, air polluting, mammoth SUVs.

You just have to love irony.
