and Rod Stewart uses lots of it. That must be the reason the Rodster, made a 20 mile round trip to an upscale Los Angeles restaurant he had just dined at when he realized he had been charged $7.00 for a bottle of mineral water he had not ordered or quaffed. He got a refund.
I guess it was the principle of the thing, but he has been known to be tight fisted. Oh well, the over $70 million he's reportedly worth earned a lot of interest for him during the jaunt.
Other famous penny pinchers include Tiger Woods, Britney Spears, maybe she's not a bimbo, and apparently J-Lo keeps her purse strings pretty tight as well.
Frank Sinatra on the other hand was one of the all time big tippers.
Once, after a hotel service worker held a door open for him, the Chairman Of The Board asked him what was the biggest tip he had ever received. The man replied $100.00, which caused Sinatra to peel off two C notes and hand them to the guy. Sinatra then asked him who the other guy was and was told, "You."
