More celebrities are following in the steps of yours truly and are becoming bloggers.

It seems that celebrities want to, "get closer" to their fans, according to one of my sources. That is, without actually having to touch them.

Some of the newest celeb scribes, if in fact they actually pen their own prose, are:

Mariah Carey,

Barbra Streisand,

Britney Spears,

Rosie O'Donnell,

and

Bruce Willis.

Even political pundit, Arianna Huffington, is due to get into the act starting May 8th.

Her blog will be different in that she will feature celebrity guest postings by the likes of:

Gwyneth Paltrow, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Diane Keaton, Warren Beatty, Walter Cronkite, David Mamet, Nora Ephron and Norman Mailer, and others.
