MOVIE MATTERS
by jim on June 25, 2007

Michael Moore's new movie, "SICKO", which received rave reviews at the Cannes Film Festival, is set to open nationwide on Friday, June 29.
"SICKO" is an investigative movie about the American health care system with a focus on the problems faced by some of the injured 9/11 rescue workers.
Moore made a controversial trip to Cuba with some of these first responders so they could receive medical care that they could not afford in The United States. The government is currently investigating the legality of this trip.
Now there's additional criticism being hurled at Mike via the recent film, "Manufacturing Dissent", which basically is an attack on his ethics in general.
Love him or hate him Moore certainly does pose some interesting questions in his work.
