MUSIC NOTES

Just after I reported on the possibility that Michael Jackson might be bringing his act to Las Vegas, and that he's essentially unemployed, news comes in that he's earning a small fortune.
Although Jackson is certainly far more talented and accomplished than Paris Hilton, he is now collecting "honorariums" of a sort, for making public appearances and cozying up to well-heeled fans in Japan.
His rate for 30 seconds of "private time" with him is $3500.00. The private time, however, is in a public place, in the open, no bedroom encounters or "jesus Juice" swilling is involved.
Jeesh, I'm certainly not as famous, but I can be entertaining, and I'll only ask ten bucks, for a full minute. Don't rush, the line forms to the left.
Read about it here.
In addition to that there are now rumors that the "Jackson 5" are reuniting and will perform, on a grand scale, in Las Vegas.
