This is one for the books!

Father Guiseppe Moscati, of the Millennium Music Society, has announced that the Vatican may hire Michael Jackson to put the late Pope John Paul II's prayers to music.

After thinking about this for a while I finally see what I guess is the wisdom behind this unlikely partnership.

It certainly strikes me as bizarre, but I'm thinking that the Catholic Church has been embroiled in child molestation lawsuits for years, thanks to their priest's perverse propensity for young boys. So, perhaps its decision makers might feel he's the right guy to convert the late Pope's prayers to songs due to his similar courtroom experience?

It's weird, but it's simpatico.

I don't know if the, King Of Pop, soon to be the, King Of Pope, will perform the material or if it will be farmed out to some modern day castrati.

Given his love for flamboyant clothing, it would be quite entertaining to see Jackson, attired in priest's vestments, moon walking in Saint Peter's Basilica for a music video.

Here's a photo history, of Jackson's constantly evolving facial structure.
