The first annual VH1 Rock Honors will be taped here, in Las Vegas, on Thursday May 25.

The show will be staged at "Pure" the upscale nightclub in Caesar's Palace.

Among others The Foo Fighters, and The all american rejects will pay tribute to legendary rock groups such as Queen, Def Leppard, and Kiss, with actress Jaime Pressly hosting the event.

The show airs on Friday, May 31, at 9 pm on, "VH1" and you check out more details on the "Judas Priest" website.

Something truly unique is being featured in conjunction with event and if you're lucky enough to reside in or near West Hollywood, or Las Vegas, you can take a shot at being part of the show.

Confessionals, similar to those known and feared by Roman Catholics, will be set up so fans of the bands being honored can enter, and record their confessions.

Some lucky souls will have their confessions played back during the show's airing.

By the way, "Pure" ownership is partly shared by local Vegas residents Shaquille O'Neal, Celine Dion, Andre Agassi, and Steffi Graf.
