The "Material Girl" is back in Malawi and the rumors are flying that she is baby shopping again.
I'm always happy to see a child in need receive help, regardless of where the child is located, but I have to wonder about this current celebrity craze of adopting babies from foreign countries.
It's certainly nothing new, Mia Farrow did it many years ago, and many non-celebrity couples adopt foreign born babies rather than endure lengthy waits for American infants.
For someone like Angelina Jolie it seems like a normal thing to do given her concerns with global matters, but I have to wonder if this whole thing isn't becoming a kind of contest among well-to-do celebrities.
I guess in the scheme of things though, the motive doesn't matter, a long as another child is helped get a better start in life.
