As time goes by more details of the Britney Spears meltdown are coming to the surface and it's starting to look as if Britney may have been victimized by a new acquaintance.

Is it time to start showing sympathy for Britney, who's wearing what looks like the wig used by Johnny Depp in the movie, "Ed Wood", rather than disdain?

Based on reports from Spear's mother, Lynne, a recent acquaintance, Sam Lutfi, may have been acting as Britney's self appointed "Guru" of sorts.

Britney may have been held captive in her own house by Lutfi, who is reported to be the person who took charge of administering drugs to her, and controlling who could and couldn't have access to her.
