Former President Bill Clinton still makes the news and still helps people even though his stint as a politician is long over.
In an auction held to benefit musicians who lost instruments due to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita a saxophone donated by Bill Clinton brought in $54,000.00.
Apparently nothing was donated for the auction by any Republican politicians.
The big winner was a guitar owned by guitar virtuoso Jimi hendrix that brought $480,000.00!
The event, which was organized by "Music Rising" a group that was co-founded by "U2" lead guitar, Edge, will also provide funds for the purchase of musical instruments by schools in the hurricane ravaged areas.
