It looks as if things are getting back on track for little cutie Nicole Richie.

The first item is her apparent reconciliation with former, and perhaps present, fiance, Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein.

And, Nicole will return to TV, for another season of "The Simple Life."

Through the magic of Hollywood, Nicole will again co-star with former best friend, Paris Hilton, without having to encounter her.

To put it simply, they will never be in the same place together.

I'll be glad to see this show return because it's one of the few fluff shows that really made me laugh, mostly because of the total lack of logic with which Paris and Nicole made decisions. Once in a while everyone needs some light entertainment, you know, the kind that doesn't cause one to think too deeply about life.

I especially enjoyed the silly interplay between the girls, so I don't know how it will come off without that aspect, but I have confidence that both of these free spirits will play off of other people equally well.
