MOVIE MATTERS
by jim on July 19, 2004
Spider-Man star Kirsten Dunst has taken on another battle. Now that her movie "Spiderman 2" is up and running all over the place she's turned her attention to politics.
The feisty 22 year-old Jersey girl, as they like being called, and that's New Jersey, blokes, my home State, has pledged to put President Bush on the unemployment line.
The girl who was voted the 2nd Sexist Female Movie Star in the "Australian Empire Magazine," September 2002, did not vote in 2000 and promises to vote in this November's election.
Kirsten said:
"It's scary what we're doing to the environment, and I'm scared that maybe (the war on Iraq) is going to get a lot worse before it gets better."
She and boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal, along with a long list of celebrities support the non-partisan youth-voter campaign "Rock The Vote."
Anyway she shares my birthday, April 30th, which makes her a bull-headed Taurus and true to her word, so it looks as if her vote will not be for the current Commander-In Chief.
Here's the official "Spiderman 2" website.
