The self proclaimed King Of Pop, Michael Jackson, proved to still be popular today when he arrived at court for arraignment on child molestation charges earlier this morning.

Now represented by another celebrity attorney, Thomas Mesereau, who has defended the likes of Robert Downey Jr. and Sean, P. Diddy Combs, Jackson appeared ahead of time and was attired in a conservative black suit, and was sporting stylish metal-rimmed glasses. Gone were the medals and various other adornments he usually displays.

Jackson arrived in a plain black van fitted with heavily tinted windows and after briefly acknowledging the swarms of screaming fans awaiting him he was escorted through the security area, under the cover of his now famous large black umbrella.

Still, despite this new look of conservatism, Jackson, who seems always to have an aura of controversy surrounding him, was displaying a bright red armband on his right arm.

We'll have to wait for an explanation of the significance of this latest adornment. Stay tuned!
