Jane Fonda, who hails from a family of actors, was an early sex-goddess during an era when nudity, whale size gazongas, and outright salaciousness had not yet become Hollywood mainstays.

Jane was the main character in a landmark movie, "Barbarella," which featured several topless scenes.

Unfortunately, Fonda did a dumb thing by visiting the then enemy North Vietnamese, as part of the anti-Vietnam war movement. She quickly became persona non grata, and to this day, despite her apologies, and acknowledgement of the harm she caused, she is still reviled by many.

However, despite the controversy, she continues to flourish and has rubbed elbows with the rich and powerful, of both Hollywood and the business world.

She has penned a frank, tell-all book entitled, "My Life So Far," and the Right Wing is having a field day with her again.

It will probably do well though, thanks to the fact that in the entertainment business, "any publicity is good publicity."
