Hollywood is all about money, big money, such as it being generated right now by the smash hit, "Spider Man 3".

So who gets the big bucks for acting in or making the movies that rake in the mountains of cash for the studios?

Actually there are a few surprises in this list, which covers all areas of entertainment and not just the movies.

For example, author of "The Da Vinci Code", Dan Brown, is way up there at $88 million. Obviously it pays to be a writer, that is, for some.
