I don't have a High Definition TV, and chances are neither do you, mostly because of their outrageously high price.

These TV's display very high resolution pictures which of course is a desirable attribute, or is it?

Before you get all jealous and inferior feeling over someone's ultra/mega-sized Hi-Def TV consider that it also shows the worst of life in all its high-rez glory as well.

Isn't the above picture of insult specialist Joan Rivers, doing her best to emulate the Elephant Man about as big as you' d want to see?

An even better example is the Rolling Stones Keith Richards. He's one of my favorite axe grinders, but I'd rather hear him than see him.

Would you really want to see this image in ultimate detail spread across 72 inches of TV screen?

Denise Richards yes, Keith Richards, no.
