Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham have been engaging in some major league shopping trips, in Paris, by themselves, so this should dispel the rumor that Katie is being held prisoner in her own home by the Scientologists.
The Cruises and the Beckhams are pretty tight these days, and it looks like the supermarket rag headlines about Katie being held captive by Tom's Scientology soldiers is, of course, nonsense.
As for Holmes film career, which Cruise's critics have said is over, because he wanted it that way, Katie turned down a reprise of her role in the newest batman movie in favor of a role with Queen Latifah in "Mad Money".
Not only is her career not over, but she's getting choices. So there!
