FOOTBALL SEASON'S OVER, WHAT'S ON TV?
Filed in archive TITILLATING TV by jim on January 29, 2007

OK, depending on whether or not you're a fan, the end of the football season brings either tears or cheers.
All right, there's the Super Bowl on Sunday, but that's more of a party time thing. There's also the Boring Bowl, also known as the Pro Bowl, which I don't count because it's more of a social gathering for the truly bored, rather than a game, so essentially, the football season is over.
But hey, the TV still works and there must be something worth watching between now and next September.
Well, we all know that "24" and "Monk" are into their new seasons, and of course the venerable "CSI" is still going strong, with a little more intrigue than usual written into the plots, but what else is there?
If the above 3 shows aren't enough for you, and for most viewers they aren't, then I suggest you check out "Yahoo!TV" a new TV site, so new it's still in Beta testing, and get the skinny on what's available on the small screen this winter.
Hmmn, "small screen", I guess with TV's measuring 72 inches
and more now, and theatre screens shrinking in size, we'll have to start calling them something else soon.
