World famous bounty hunter, Duane "Dog" Chapman was on the receiving end of a warrant this time.
U.S. Federal Marshalls executed a warrant issued as a result of a complaint of kidnapping filed in Mexico in connection with his 2003 apprehension of Max Factor heir Andrew Luster.
Mexico's legal system is quite different from ours. Essentially, in Mexico, you are guilty until proven innocent, the opposite of our set up, so the reason The Dog is pooping his pants is obvious.
Chapman, who was already famous for his accomplishments as a bounty hunter, became a true celebrity just over two years ago as a result of Luster's capture. This feat resulted in his own TV show as I reported here.
Luster, a rapist who fled to Mexico, was found guilty and sent to prison. This fact has not deterred Mexican officials from pursuing Chapman whom they claim was in violation of Mexican law when he took Luster back to the USA
Personally I think the situation sucks because Chapman did the world a favor by taking Luster out of circulation. I think the Mexican authorities should have just let the situation fade away rather than enforce a law merely because they're miffed.
Whether or not our government extradites The Dog remains to be seen, but at a time when people are clamoring for rights for captured murdering terrorists, it would be a disgrace to send Chapman to Mexico.

You may very well be right Stacey. Our government will do things like that for a few good headlines. I think it sucks. The drug dealer should be given up willingly and without strings attached since he's a dangerous criminal Jim

I for one am so offrnded that the taxes I pay are going to arrest a man who did something the feds could not do. I don't recall Mexico giving up Luster when he ran there. I say to hell with Mexico and this dumb ass government. Let the dog go free. Use my tax dollars to go after the real problem. The criminals!

I think DOG was doing a great thing for capturing Andrew Luster, because I mean if no one is doing a good job in catching fugitive's like DOG,he shouldn't be arrested for it.You don't put a man in jail after working hard to catch a rapist who flew to Mexico.

Money Money Money Let it go Give him a fine. Everyone knows about Mexico now.No one is going to want to vacation in a country that will let a rapist run free. Hey I know lets put the good guys in jail. The bad guys would like vacation in a country that they feel save in.
