Diddy will be a daddy again, and he and long time girlfriend, Kim Porter, are over the moon about it.

Suspicion that the Rap mogul might be expecting, that is Kim, might be with child, started when she disdained liquor during his annual "White Party".

I'm not sure how he will take this revelation, but as a tribute to Diddy's enduring, and universal appeal, my 89-year-old mother-in-law, Fedora, an Italian immigrant, is a fan.

She's about 70% deaf, and admits that she doesn't understand what he's saying, but she admires his threads, and says, "He's sharp."

Fedora was always a clothes horse, and acutely observant, and a harsh critic of apparel, having worked at Bloomingdale's, in New York, so this is high praise.

I don't think she's in his targeted audience, but then, appearances count, and Diddy's looks certainly make the grade, even with the nursing home set.

By the way, she still has trouble with the English language, and calls him, "Dadiddy," which sort of fits his role as a Daddy.
