DESPITE IRS CRACKDOWN CELEBRITIES GET GOODIE BAGS

The good times just keep on rolling along as Hollywood's celebrities are still getting millions in handouts.
Last year the IRS clamped down on these giveaways and reminded cash-strapped celebrities that federal tax was due on the value of these ostentatious perks.
Goodie bags are usually trotted out for awards shows such as The Oscars, The Emmys, and The People's Choice Awards, which was attended by "Grey's Anatomy's" Chandra Wilson, seen here.
I hope she got some new dresses in her goodie bag that are not styled after upholstered furniture, and I'm sorry, but that's just not a good color for her either. What is that, some sort of metallic gray primer?
Better than a goodie bag with thousands of dollars worth of unwanted crap, is the "gifting suite," where celebrities are "gifted" by virtue of a free shopping trip.
A veritable smorgasbord, that's "buffet," to those of you to young to remember the name change, of high dollar trinkets and toys is available for celebrities to choose from. No more weeping celebs getting stuck with a free $25K weekend in Tahiti when he or she really wanted Bali. Oh, the horror!
Even Lindsay Lohan, who isn't on TV, sobered up long enough to make a run through "Lucky" magazine's gifting suite, which was available during "Preview Week", an annual event held to unveil the shows we won't be watching this Fall.

I don't know about you but the only goodie bag I ever got was from my dentist. It contained a toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, floss, and a picture of a big tooth with a cartoon character scrubbing it.
She told me to be sure to have my wife teach me how to use them.
