How would you like to make $90.00 per hour? I thought so, and if anyone out there is making more, my hat is off to you.

90 bucks per hour translates into a yearly income of roughly $180,000.00 per year, which is more than most doctors, dentists and lawyers earn.

Considering that a huge number of people don't make $90.00 per day, or about $23,000.00 per year, you start to understand just how much 90 bucks per hour is.

Does anyone make 90 bucks per minute, which is $5400.00 per hour, or about $11,232,000.00 per year?

Oh yeah, plenty of CEO's make that kind of dough, and I'm sure many others do as well.

Just think, if someone made $5400.00 per hour he or she could work about 4 ½ hours, just a bit more than a half day, and make as much as the person making $90.00 per day does in an entire year.

So what does this have to do with the Beckhams?

Plenty, as you'll learn.

The couple is seen here arriving in L.A., with their 3 kids wearing identical outfits, so they'll be able to pick them out of a crowd, or maybe there was a sale at the outlet center on those togs.

The Beckhams are here so David can resume his career as one of many world-wide athlete/mercenaries.

David Beckham, when he plays soccer, or football, as the Europeans call it, or footy as it's referred to in England, will be making $90.00 per second! Yes, per second!

You do the math on that one but just think, he only has to work 4 ½ minutes to make the same as the person making $23,000.00 per year. By the way, at 40 hours per week that's 2080 hours to earn what Beckham earns in those 4 ½ minutes.

OK, so the Beckhams arrived and are settling into their $22,000,000.00 house with Tom Cruise and Jay Leno as neighbors, and soon becky will make his debut as a pro soccer player in America.

The soccer people are hoping that he will attract more fans to the game and make it as popular as American football.

Never happen, for more reasons than I care to go into. In fact they'll be lucky to pick up 5% more fans of pro soccer than currently exist.

But the Beckhams are here, so, in typical American fashion, it's time to overexpose them.

First up is TV, of course. I'm sure they'll be in our faces more than that once cute, and now pain-in-the-ass, animated gecko, that the, what's its name insurance company uses.

Victoria Beckham was originally going to have a 6 episode TV show about settling in to the new house but it was scrapped and now a there will be a Reality TV Special which airs Monday, July 16, on NBC, the "Nobody Cares Network.

Mark your calendar.

Not to be outdone David will try to add a few more zeroes to the family bank account by +hosting his own Reality TV show.

I can't wait.

Beckham's first game as an American player will be sometime soon. I don't know if it will be on over the air or basic cable.

Meanwhile, for you soccer moms, when little Fauntleroy tells you he just has to have a pair of, I don't know, "Ground Beckhams", as opposed to "Air Jordans", soccer shoes, for 200 clams, remember 2 things:

One, the royalties are going to a good cause, and
Two, your kid may grow up to be the next Beckham, and maybe remember you on Mother's Day with flowers and a card, maybe.
