Just to prove that they are indeed human, our much-worshipped celebrities do commit the odd offense, of a minor nature, from time to time.

Hilary Swank recently got caught smuggling an apple into a New Zealand airport. That little no-no cost her a celebrity-sized fine of $163.00. I'm surprised she didn't hire a lawyer who would have argued that it was a medical necessity and then charged her 20 grand.

This one's a bit old, but it bears repeating. In 1999 actor Matthew McConaughey, was caught playing at home playing the bongos while naked with marijuana nearby. Oh gosh, what terrible offenses, call out the Marines.

Kristen Davis, of "Sex And The City," fame, shown above fulfilling a fan's request, and below just standing around looking good, was pulled over for having her car windows tinted too darkly.

And last but never least, the always worth keeping an eye on, Paris Hilton, allegedly stole a DVD of her own sexcapades from an L.A. newsstand last December. Paris could have done six months in the slammer but the charges were dropped.

What's with her anyway? She not only has money enough to buy just about anything on Earth, but did she forget that she probably has a copy of it, or maybe the original?
