With the couch jumping episode on the Oprah Winfrey Show, his marriage to Katie Holmes and birth of his daughter now old news, Tom Cruise, the moviemaker, is back in the news.

Tom Cruise, see above as he appeared in 1984 when he was an underarm deodorant model, despite still being a box office draw, has been experiencing some problems on the production end of the moviemaking business.

After a successful takeover of United-Artists with Paula Wagner, his long time business associate, Paula has now resigned as CEO of their joint venture.

This along with a dismal box office take for "Lions For Lambs", Cruise' most recent film, has left Hollywood executives wondering what the future hold for Tom.

But Cruise isn't out for the count as some believe. He made a surprise cameo appearance in the controversial movie "Tropic Thunder" and has several more projects underway.
