The newly improved Courtney Love is being spotted again in public and although she doesn't quite have the taut look of the past she's certainly much slimmer.

This of course has ignited a raft of rumors as to just how she dropped approximately 45 pounds so fast.

Speculation that she had a gastric bypass or "band" surgery is of course nonsensical since those procedures are usually reserved for the morbidly obese and not someone who is simply "overweight".

Liposuction has also been rumored but that too seems unlikely, as you can see here.

Courtney credits the weight loss to Oprah Winfrey.

Love does however admit to having a bit of facial plastic surgery to make her look less like she had plastic surgery in the past.
