Here's a description of the prize by its designer, Tammy Powley, author of The Jewelry Weblog, who has generously donated this unique jewelry:

"Diamonds are a girl's best friend, even when you weave them yourself using tiny glass seed beads. Or better yet, don't weave them and just enjoy this necklace and earring set when you win them!

The earrings include sterling silver ear hooks and faux (nature-friendly) coral teardrop dangles. Bright green gaspeite heishi beads are woven with Japanese coral-colored seed beads into diamond shapes. The matching necklace follows the same geometric style, with the addition of sterling daisy spacer beads and a sterling bali hook clasp.

A one-of-a-kind set, both pieces were created by jewelry designer Tammy Powley for her new book "Making Designer Seed Bead, Stone and Crystal Jewelry," available on-line at Amazon.com, and most bookstores and craft shops next month (May 2006)."
