CELEBRITY SPOTTING IN LAS VEGAS

As I always say, you can find anything in Las Vegas, and celebrities are included, now more than ever as more and more of them visit and in fact, have chosen to take up residence here.

While Las Vegas may not yet be as rife with celebrities as Los Angeles, or New York, they are becoming easier to spot and this article points out some of the best celebrity hangouts and has links to other cool Las Vegas sites.

When my wife worked in the casino industry seeing celebrities was a frequent occurrence. One of the benefits of her working with people who were much further up the food chain paid off for us when we were checking out a new Strip casino that had just opened.

She knew the manager of the steakhouse and he ushered us in past a huge line of high rollers and comped us to an amazing meal.

At the next table was the star of "The Pretender", Michael T. Weiss, who was entertaining a sizable group and seemed like a very nice guy.

Since he didn't interrupt my meal with an autograph request I didn't disturb him either.

My most recent celebrity spotting was of Jerry Lewis, which I wrote about here.

Next time you're in Las Vegas you can check out some of the hot spots and see who you can see.

  1. Last year I saw Howard Stern getting into the cab in front of me at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
People always ask me if I see a lot of celebrities in Las Vegas. No. They usually reserve limos and go in and out of security entrances.
