We're well into 2007 now and while last year was the year of celebrities and their babies, this year's celebrity news seems headed in the direction of celebrities in less than stable relationships.

I suppose the biggest rumor involves one of my favorite rockers, Joan Jett, and one of my favorite babes, Carmen Electra, who have been seen together, which is enough in today's world to start the tongues wagging.

Carmen says no way.

Years ago, when I lived in the Central part of the country, I had a friend who worked for Joan for a number of years. He said she was a great gal, and she always had a great looking girlfriend. That has nothing to do with this report; I just thought I'd throw it in so you'd be impressed with the fact that I was only 2 degrees away from knowing Joan Jett.
