Did you know that some celebrities are also inventors?

Hedy Lamarr, the 1930's - 40's hottie movie star, invented several of the earliest electronic devices. One of them, spearheaded today's "Spread Spectrum Technology", which may not mean anything to you, even though your cordless phone probably use it.

Of course this pales by comparison to Michael Jackson's patent on a device, which when incorporated into a pair of shoes, makes the person wearing them appear to be "floating."
