Many celebrities are activists who use their star power to champion causes that they are sympathetic to.
These days one of the most popular causes is the "Green Initiative"; an issue that has caused world-wide concern among celebrities and non-celebrities for decades.
Although the main thrust of the Green Initiative is to identify and stop pollutants that harm the Earth's environment there are also movements afoot to eliminate anything that is harmful to life on Earth.
