CELEBRITIES & GOSSIP
by jim on January 29, 2007

I came across a list of 5 celebrities we could do without in 2007 and thought you'd like to see it.
Perhaps what are even more interesting are the lists of honorable mentions that were compiled by several other pop culture gurus.
Here's the lists by "411Mania.com".
I think we can do without celebrities who attend any kind of "Reprogramming" activities within minutes of being caught doing or saying something that's unacceptable.
If someone has an addiction problem, for example, OK, go get help. But I'm sick of people who say something off-color and immediately enroll in some posh, expensive, resort type establishment that promises to "cleanse" the evil from him or her.
To me, this type of action is a cop out, it's similar to saying, "OK, OK, I said what I really feel, but I don't want you to dislike me, so I'll go to this place to make believe I give a damn, and then you'll have to say I'm a good guy after all.
In fact, what's wrong with having the stones to say, "Hey I'm not apologizing for what I just said, and I'll say it again, 'I just don't like people who are over seven feet tall and wear yellow hats on Thursdays'."
