CELEBRITIES LOOKING FOR FRIENDS

"And now for something completely different," as "Monty Python" star, John Cleese, used to say.
It seems that today's celebrities, especially couples, are having trouble finding compatible friends
Aren't these the same kind of people that were referred to as "quality people," 20 or so years ago, when the same problem apparently existed?
Well, the business community has come up with a solution for this new problem. By utilizing the old, "Find a need and fill it," method, Couplets.com, a company that matches couples, with other couples, have found new friends for lonesome celebrities.
This almost sounds like a prelude to wife swapping doesn't it?
The demise of real neighborhoods, and public places for kids to hang out has given rise to the "play date," and now, celebrities, since there are so many of them, no longer have friends in common with which to socialize.
It all seems a bit unnatural to me.
Of course if there are high profile celebrities, with limousines, who want to take me to five star restaurants so we can talk about the state of the world, or our respective hobbies, here I am.
In return I'll take flattering pictures of them, and post them here on The Celebrities Weblog, along with my glowing report of the event.
