Say what you will, but the celebrity A List doesn't get any more impressive than the candidates for the two top political offices in The United States, the President and Vice President.
It goes without saying that gaining access to this once every four years, major political event is difficult, and appearing on stage with the candidates is reserved for the cream of the A List crop.
Former President Bill Clinton, Senator Hillary Clinton, and the long term, highly popular Senator, Ted Kennedy, will be the secondary stars, after Barrack Obama and Joe biden. When you take that into consideration it's obvious that only the top Hollywood celebrities will gain admission to the convention.
Those celebrities "big" enough to represent Hollywood are Ben Affleck, Charlize Theron, Rosario Dawson and Jennifer Lopez.
Oprah Winfrey will be in attendance but will not address the convention.
