"Bling-Bling", or "Bling", as it is usually called, is more or less an item of jewelry, usually of ostentatious proportions, worn primarily by members of the Hip-Hop community.

Like most things though, there are arguments as to who actually named Bling, who was the first to utilize Bling, exactly what constitutes Bling, and of course who has the biggest piece of Bling.

It is a rather fascinating topic, and my observation is that Bling isn't restricted to Hip-Hoppers when you take into account some of the massive diamond rings and huge, multi-strand, multi-stone necklaces worn by Hollywood actresses.
