Ashlee Simpson collapsed in an elevator following a performance for MTV Japan in Tokyo and was taken to a hospital in an Ambulance. She had just performed her single, "Boyfriend", when she told the audience she felt sick and that she loved them.

Not much information is available. Rob Shuter, her representative, has confirmed the report to the Associate Press, but would not give any details about the incident or her condition. However, her scheduled appearance at the Radio Music Awards on Monday has been canceled.
