I find the world of genealogy to be quite fascinating, and although I haven't found any connections to famous people in my family tree it's still fun to check around to learn more about my origins.

Europeans have always been obsessed with genealogy, probably because their countries have been in existence for so long and they have extensive records available for people to check.

Well now there's a TV show in Great Britain called "Who Do You Think You Are," that traces celebrity's roots and reports their findings on the show.

It has become so popular that there's a mad scramble among American TV networks for the rights to broadcast it here.

Who knows, maybe some day you'll find out you're related to a celebrity, and that might get you an invite to high falutin' Hollywood party.
